Degree in Finance – National University of Science and Technology (NUST), MBA – (UZ), IOBZ Diploma, Executive Certificate in Credit Management – UZ, Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice (Henley Business School)
She holds Professional certifications which include a Diploma in Law, Conciliation and Arbitration, a Certificate of Proficiency in Short & Long‑Term Insurance, and a Certificate of Proficiency in Trusteeship
Rosemary Muwirimi was appointed Head: Credit Evaluations effective 05 September 2025, after acting in the same role since May 2025. She joined the Bank in 2000 as a Credit Analyst and later held the roles of Relationship Manager and Credit Manager, where she was exposed to managing credit portfolios across the BBU, Corporate, and Agricultural sectors. She was promoted to the role of Senior Credit Manager in February 2022. Before joining the Bank, she held the position of Credit Analyst at CBZ Bank Limited for a year. Her key strengths are in credit management and risk management.
