Heresy joined Nedbank Zimbabwe Limited on 4 January 2021 as Head of Sales and Origination, bringing with him deep commercial insight and a proven track record in revenue growth, client acquisition, and relationship management. In this role, he was responsible for driving the Bank’s sales strategy, originating high‑quality business, and delivering sustainable growth through strong customer partnerships. Prior to joining Nedbank, Heresy served as Senior Manager, Corporate and Investment Banking at Ecobank Zimbabwe Limited, where he played a pivotal role in growing the corporate portfolio, structuring complex transactions, and strengthening key client relationships across multiple sectors. His leadership was instrumental in enhancing deal origination pipelines and improving customer experience outcomes. He also served as a Head – Local Corporates and SME Banking at Ecobank Zimbabwe Limited, where he demonstrated strong sales acumen and customer service leadership. He is recognized for his ability to align customer needs with tailored financial solutions, driving both client satisfaction and profitability. With over 24 years of experience in the banking sector, including 12 years at senior management level, Heresy combines strategic sales leadership with a disciplined, customer‑focused approach. His career is distinguished by consistent delivery of growth, strong stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to building long‑term, value‑driven client relationships.
